Opening up messages like these tells the scammers that your email is real. Clicking on attachments or links can expose your computer to malware and compromise data on your hard drive. Whenever you get an email from an unfamiliar source, describing something too good (or bad!) to be true, with an attachment or link you did not ex- pect, just delete it and move on.
