Dance

        Ballet I/Jazz I

        Ages 8-12
        This course combines 45 minutes of ballet and 45 minutes of
        jazz. In this class, students will learn the basic building blocks
        of ballet and jazz technique. This class offers the structure and
        discipline of classical ballet and jazz while improving gross motor
        skills,  flexibility  and  musicality.  Participants  will  learn  short
        combinations, reinforcing technique that moves across the floor.
        This course will culminate in a final showcase.
        10 Weeks: Saturdays, April 3  – June 5   from 11 AM - 12:30 PM

        Tap I/Hip Hop I
        Ages 8-12

        This course combines 45 minutes of tap and 45 minutes of hip hop.
        In this class, students develop quickness of step and mind, as well
        as precision in movement. Students will learn beginner basics of
        tap and hip hop that will enhance both rhythm and musicality.
        This class will culminate in a final showcase.
         10 Weeks: Saturdays, April 3  – June 5   from 1 PM- 2:30 PM

        Beginner Tap I

        Ages 13 to Adult
        Shuffle, ball change, shuffle hop step! This course will provide students
        with an excellent introduction to tap dancing. Beginning with basic
        steps and terminology, class will progress into simple choreography
        and execution of more complex steps. Although skills and style will
        develop as class moves forward, basics will be continually reviewed in
        order to ensure a strong foundation, encouraging muscle memory, and
        building confidence. This course will culminate in a final showcase.
        Course Prerequisite: Foundations of Tap or a sign off from the
        Stadium Theatre Education Director.
        10 Weeks: Tuesdays, March 30  – June 8  from 6:30 PM - 8 PM
