Equitop Farm is pleased to present this flashy youngster with a fantastic attitude! Right from the day Champ was born he was a looker; he loves showing off and impresses with his fancy gaits. He has been handled regularly, stands well for the farrier and even enjoyed his first bath. Currently growing up healthy in the pas- ture with a small herd of foals he will be ready for weaning mid October. We will gladly offer to board Champ at Equitop Farm until he is older, for weaning within the group, or even pasture-availability the next couple of years until riding age. Sire: Champ’s sire is Casparo by Coupe de Coeur. Casparo is well known for his beautiful presence, a level-headed character, in an elite compact athletic frame. Still young & competing himself, Casparo has entered the FEI jumper levels with Top 3 placings. A very modern sport horse, his Hanoverian bloodlines combine contemporary sport-breeding with foundational bloodlines. He has a contempo- rary relaxed show-star attitude, and is equally charming to hack on a trail ride. This versatility in a sport horse may have come from Casparo’s sire, Ludger Beerbaum’s famous Coupe de Coeur. Coupe de Couer is amongst the most successful show jumpers in Europe with 125 wins and placings in Grand Prix’s, Nation’s Cups and World Cup competitions, which includes the three-time title of German Show Jumping Champion.
a hold of a European and Hanoverian standard of quality, right here in North America!

Dam: Champ’s dam, Quinla, is sired by Quidam Blue. Her dam-line goes back to the famous Argentinus. She herself continues to be ridden under saddle for plea- sure, while being a broodmare — she has top quality gaits and lovely rideability. Quidam Blue is an international Grand Prix jumper now situated here with us in Alberta. Quidam Blue jumped in the highest levels with Olympic Silver medal-
ist Jill Henselwood. Together their highlights include Top 3 finishes as part of
the Canadian Team at the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup in Bratislava, in the Wild Card Smart Pack Grand Prix at Saugerties New York, winning the SynOil Energy Services CSI** Cup at the Royal West in Calgary; Quidam Blue added numerous placings in the 1.60 m level in the following years.
