Sire: Morricone was the Oldenburg Main Premium winner at his licensing and was praised for his impression and ability. He won the dressage index at the 30-day test in Adelheidsdorf with a final score of 9.33. The judges gave the stun- ning stallion a 9.0 for his trot and canter and the highest possible score of 10.0 for his walk. Morricone unites the optimum characteristics of nobility and type, striking quality of movements as well as brilliant rideability and a strong kind char- acter. In his stallion performance test, he won superiorly the dressage part with
a score of 9.33 and received the maximum score of 10.0 for rideability and walk four times. All basic gaits as well as constitution, character, temperament and willingness to perform were praised with scores of 9.5 and 9.0. On the one hand, this noble dancer impresses with three fantastic basic gaits, rhythm and a striking engagement of the hind quarters, but on the other hand, his rideability and imper- turbable strength of character are absolutely unique for such a youthful stallion.
Dam: Splendor has been an outstanding producer for us however I do feel that this foal is her best to date. The mare herself was a Premium Mare awarded
at her mare performance test. She got 7’s and 8’s for all categories. She is
by Sarkozy, who narrowly missed out on a medal at the Bundeschampionat final for five-year-old dressage horses with a 9.0 for overall impression and
9.5 for his graceful, ground-covering walk. He was also one of the top ten at the World Championship final in Verden, where he was placed fifth. In 2009, Sarkozy was the dazzling Hanover Riding Horse Champion and celebrated Vice Bundeschampion. At the Bundeschampionat he was awarded 9.9 for all his basic paces and 9.5 for conformation. He also completed his 30-day test with an impressive dressage-oriented final score of 9.01. It would be no exaggeration
to say that Sarkozy’s walk is one of the most outstanding of all current German dressage stallions.
