Bembeyaz Plajlar
Maldivler’de bembeyaz kumsallar görenleri şaşırtıyor. Mercanların zaman içinde incecik kum haline gelmesiyle oluşan plajlar ipek gibi. Deniz de bu bembeyaz mercan parçaları ile dolu olduğu için, turkuaz olarak çıkıyor karşı- mıza. Çevresi hep mercan kayalıkları ile dolu olduğu için adaların her köşesini güzelleştiriyor. Bembeyaz plajlar göz kamaştıran bir görüntü oluşturuyor.
Balıkları Besleme Vakti
Balık diyarı Maldivler’in kıyılarında öyle vahşi balık ya da deniz canlısı görmek mümkün değil. Adaların çevresindeki mercan kayalıkları, adanın doğal korumaları gibi. Büyük bü- yük dallı budaklı mercanlar çok büyük balıkların girmesini engelliyor. Denizde balıkları besleme saati gelince de bunu en güzeli ile görüyoruz. Her gün akşamüstü, saat 17.00 ile 18.00 arasında iskelede bir koca bidon ton balığı ile balık besleme yapılıyor. Turistlerin oldukça dikkatini çeken bu aktivite denizdeki rengarenk balıkları iskeleye çekiyor. Va- tozlar, bebek köpek balıkları ve dünyanın en çeşitli balıkları adeta ton balıklarını yemek için yarış içine giriyorlar. Yem- leme vakti kesinlikle bu renk cümbüşü görülmeli.

White beaches
The white sand beaches in the Maldives amaze peo- ple. The beaches, formed by the corals that became very thin in time, look like silk. The sea is filled with these coral pieces and it looks like turquoise. Since the islands are continually full of coral reefs, corals rend every corner of the islands beautiful. Hence, white beaches create a wonderful image.
Time to feed the fish
It is not possible to observe the wild fish and or the wild marine creature in the Maldives. The coral reefs around the islands constitute the natural protections of the island. Large corals prevent giant fish from entering the coast. When it is time to feed the fish, we may observe this in the most beautiful way. Every day in the afternoon, between 05 pm and 6 pm, they feed the fish on the pier with a big drum containing tuna fish. This activity attracts tourists as well as the colorful fish. Stingray fishes, baby sharks, and the world’s most diverse fish are racing to eat the tuna fish. You should definitely observe this colorful scene.
