P. 2

The UK has already recognised west Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. This has been the case since the UK recognised Israel as a state. Until now, however, the UK has been hindered by cowardice and political correctness. We believe this could be changing, but this will also require wisdom and courage from our government. We believe now is the right time for Britain to move its embassy to Jerusalem and affirm Biblical truth and present-day reality.
Once again, this is a subject for prayer and for action. You can read more about a new petition, the UK Pledge for Israel, inside this Update and we encourage you to get involved.
Defending Israel and Honouring Jerusalem
A key way that CUFI both defends Israel and honours Jerusalem is when we spread the Biblical truth about Israel with Christians around the country. We actively achieve this online and in mailings, but we want to increase our outreach to Christians face-to-face. The pandemic hampered our in-person meetings, but we’re glad to be back meeting one another again.
There is great value in meeting together as brothers and sisters. The Bible teaches us not to neglect joining together, especially in these times, and we are told by many attending
our events how blessed they are by our talks and presentations. However, it is in fact our team at CUFI that benefits the most. We are encouraged, inspired and invigorated to continue our work, spreading the truth about Israel and defending the Jewish people, all of which would not be possible without supporters like you.
We are asking our supporters to consider inviting CUFI to their churches and prayer meetings. Whether yours is a church of twenty people or two-hundred people we want to connect with you. We are a grassroots organisation, and it is important we reach as many people as possible with the truth about Israel. We believe every seed sown can help Christians grow in understanding God’s plans and purposes for Israel and the Jewish people.
If you would like to invite us to your church or prayer group, please get in touch with us using the contact information found in this Update. We look forward to meeting you in person.
Finally, we could not do any of what we are doing without the donations and prayers of our faithful friends. We want to thank every person who has sown into this ministry, both physically and spiritually. You ensure this important work continues.
We are always humbled and grateful for the encouragement and support we receive from people all over the country.

Executive Director, CUFI UK
 Queen Elizabeth II
1926-2022
Christians United for Israel gives thanks to God for the life of Her Majesty The Queen and for her remarkable devotion and service to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth.
The Queen’s extraordinary dedication, Christian example and godly wisdom will be deeply missed by all those privileged to have lived under her reign. Her example of unwavering service, her strength and steadfastness, and her radiating love and warmth, impacted millions of people around the world. Her Majesty provided an anchor of continuity and stability for over seven decades – from a war-time generation of which she was part, to the present era, with new and uncertain challenges.
May the God of Israel, whom Queen Elizabeth loved and served, bless and guide King Charles III. God save the King!
 Request a speaker
At CUFI, we love communicating the truth about Israel and it’s always a privilege to be invited to a meeting, whether it be a church service, prayer group, conference, or any other occasion.
Topics could include an introduction to the work of CUFI, why Christians should stand with Israel, an insight into what is currently happening in the Middle East, or a Bible teaching relating to Israel, for example.
If you would like to request a CUFI speaker to come to your gathering, please call 01793 862 210 or go to www.cufi.org.uk/act/request-a-speaker
