I am thrilled to be living and making art in New Orleans! The arts are celebrated here, rather than just tolerated like most other modern cities. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has halted all that is inspiring, and that is a shame.
If I was not doing this, I’d probably be practicing law! I enjoyed the legal field very much. It was also a joy to perform lead vocals with my hillbilly rock band, Ellie Mae’s Biscuits when I was still living in Los Angeles. However, I decided that the music biz, however lucrative, was not for me.
Halloween is the best time of the year! I’ve never gone one year of my life that I can remember not wearing a costume. And I’ve even joined SKINZ N BONEZ, a Mardi Gras Krewe here in New Orleans. We ‘bone up’ in skeleton costumes and skull makeup that we designed ourselves.
And I impatiently wait for the stores to stock Halloween items on their shelves!
