My name is Audrey Swarz, and I began my crazy love of sculpting after visiting a one-of-a-kind art doll gallery 34 years ago. I was so inspired and fascinated by the art there, that it led me to buy my first block of clay and give it a try.
From there, the creativity and love for sculpting soon emerged! I had no formal training, just a desire to create unique pieces with a style of my own. My imagination led me to start sculpting my first art dolls for friends and family, which eventually led me to have collectors across the country.
From a mere lump of clay emerges a face and eyes
that tell a story of their own.
Each piece seems to come to life as I create them, and I love the joy that my collectors say comes from the pieces they purchase. That is what means the most to me. The techniques used in all my pieces are highly evolved.
