www maltacvs org Another initiative by MCVS was the the the the the launch of a a a a a a a a a 24/7 Helpline in in in order to further assist the the the the the voluntary organisations and the the the the the general public 2nd - 3rd April
MCVS called on on the the the authorities to provide an an an emergency fund for for voluntary organisations as as the the the the demand for for their services increased and and funding lines began to to dry up To further clarify this situation MCVS organised a a a a a a a a a a a a survey with the the the intention to to to to collect essential data in in in in relation to to the the Voluntary Sector in in in in Malta and and Gozo and and thus giving MCVS a a a a a a a a a a a a a clearer picture of of the the the situation with with with the the the the the the aim to to come up up with with with solutions in in support of of the the the the the the the same sector sector MCVS then addressed these issues with with with the the the the the the the Government on on behalf of the the the the the the sector sector as stated by the the the the the the National Strategy for Volunteering 2020 – 2025 8th April
MCVS sets up a a a a a a a a web-based help help desk system in in order to to be able to to to reach and help help voluntary organisations during these challenging times This was an an an effective digital tool used by the the the MCVS staff to to to to offer excellent customer service to to to to their clients even whilst working remotely during these testing times 13th April
MCVS represented by Mr Robert Farrugia Council Member was interviewed on on on TVM’s ‘Ras imb Ras’ on on on the the the reality of the the the Voluntary Sector during the the Corona Virus Pandemic
