CIVITA’S CAVE
The Grotte della Civita is a cultural conservation recovery project of 18 caves, some of exceptional dimensions, and a common space in a former rock church. The interior design, the respectful and minimalist approach of Sextantio is reflected in the furnishing elements. You will discover a special atmosphere that evokes the human and cultural history of the Sassi di Matera.
Day 1 - BARI / MATERA
Arrival at Bari Airport, meeting with our team and
transfer to Matera.
Matera, charming little town of Basilicata, it feels like setting foot in a living nativity scene. It is no coincidence that Matera is also called the "Second Bethlehem", it has been the setting for films such as "The Passion of Christ" by Mel Gibson and "The Gospel of St. Matthew" by Pier Paolo Pasolini. Day 2 - ISASSIDIMATERA

excursion.
