  Charming Italy: The caves of Matera Antico Convicino Sleeping in Matera, in a complex of 1500 cleverly renovated and furnished located in the Sasso Caveoso. The rooms all of different size, all obtained from the renovation of the ancient caves.
CIVITA’S CAVE
The Grotte della Civita is a cultural conservation recovery project of 18 caves, some of exceptional dimensions, and a common space in a former rock church. The interior design, the respectful and minimalist approach of Sextantio is reflected in the furnishing elements. You will discover a special atmosphere that evokes the human and cultural history of the Sassi di Matera.
  Day 1 - BARI / MATERA
Arrival at Bari Airport, meeting with our team and
transfer to Matera.
Matera, charming little town of Basilicata, it feels like setting foot in a living nativity scene. It is no coincidence that Matera is also called the "Second Bethlehem", it has been the setting for films such as "The Passion of Christ" by Mel Gibson and "The Gospel of St. Matthew" by Pier Paolo Pasolini. In 1993, UNESCO inscribed the "Sassi" of Matera on the World Heritage List as a millennial development system and model that must be preserved for future generations. Day 2 - ISASSIDIMATERA

excursion.
Meeting with the guide and during the visit, which will take place in the historic center and in the Sasso Caveoso, an old quarter dug in the rock, it will be possible to admire: Piazza Vittorio Veneto very beautiful place of 1800; view of the Sasso Barisano of Affaccio Luigi Guerricchio.
