At the time I adored New York - a place full of cosmopolitan life and memories. Although to me it was also a metaphor for the decay of contemporary culture. How hard it was to exist in a society desensitized by drugs, loud music, television, crime, garbage... But yet there was the allure of business to me made and that was too tempting, being a Lloyds Broker.
