         Cora volunteers at a refugee services organization in Larnaca, Cyprus, called the Oasis Project. The Oasis Project helps to integrate refugees into society through family events, English classes, clothing and food distributions. She has also participated in various events in the refugee camp just outside Larnaca.
She also served with a refugee relief project in Irbid, Jordan. This project distributed food, clothing, and heaters to Syrian refugees. Cora helped with children's events like summer camp. She visited homes of Syrian families in need of encouragement and help. This required her to learn Arabic as many did not speak English.
While in Jordan, she helped start a "snack shop" for students attending a US Aid project that trained young Jordanian and Syrian people in leadership and mentoring. She was in charge of purchasing, stocking, and selling items for the snack shop where she also helped manage the team of volunteers that ran the snack shop.
Rachel would like to pursue a Master's Degree in Art Therapy from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC, and open a practice in the Tri- Cities area.
Dauntrae plans to attend Tennessee Technology of Dickson, TN, and to enter the workforce after graduation.
