Lenore Marie Thorne was very active in her local 4-H club. Among her many accomplishments were: Certified Advanced Master Dairy Goat Producer from UT/TSU 2016; State 4-H Level I Winner— Goat project 2016; 4-H speech sub regional 1st place winner 2018; 4-H speech regional 2nd place winner 2015, 2016, 2017; 5th place winner 2018; 4-H speech contest 1st place winner in club and county 2016, 2017, 2018; Tennessee 4-H Honor Club member; 4-H Golden Clover Award 2014; 4-H State Photo Search winner 2016; 4-H Central Region All Stars Certificate of Achievement 2016; 4-H Wilson County Outstanding Sr. High Award 2016; Trousdale County Fair, 3 Best of Show awards, 8- 1st place awards 2016; Smith County Fair, 2 Best of Show awards 2014; Wilson County Farm Days volunteer 2016 & 2017; Wilson County Right to
Life Oratory Contest 1st place winner 2015, 2016, and 2017; Tennessee State Right to Life Oratory Contest 3rd place winner 2015, 2nd place winner 2016, 1st place winner 2017; National Right to Life Oratory Contest finalist 2017; Certified Care Net Volunteer completed 20 hours of training 2017; and State of Tennessee House of Representatives Proclamations 2017 & 2015.
She received multiple scholarships from Aquinas College and the University of Tennessee. After gradation, she plans to attend Volunteer State Community College and pursue a degree in Veterinary Technology.
