After we moved John and the family to Nashville in 2004, we were soon
connected to HomeLife Academy. That was in John’s kindergarten year and we have been with HLA ever since! John has always loved to read and learn about the world around him while at home with his mother and siblings. Through the HLA High School program and the assistance of the high school staff at HLA, he broadened his experience in life and grew in his skills as an instrumentalist, a soccer player and referee and as a multi-lingual speaker. John also grew in his love of literature, of apologetics and the art of communication. He is so thankful for the teachers who have poured into his life: Dr. Shormann of DIVE into Math and Science and literature teacher Terry Campbell, Personal Finance teacher Mandy Scott and Advanced Communications teacher Lance Westbrooks all from Heritage Homeschool Group. We thank you all and are excited to see what God does in John’s life as he studies business communications at Liberty University this fall.
