Meleah has had quite a few awards & recognitions, both academically and musically, over her high school career. Her music awards include: 1st place in NATS Memphis Chapter Auditions in 2016 (High School Classical), a full scholarship for serving as a singer in JSCC’s Innovation Vocal Ensemble, a maximum scholarship to attend the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts, and numerous top ratings in Tennessee All-State Choirs, All-West Senior High Honor Choir, and MAMTA (Martin Area Music Teacher's Association) local auditions. Academically, she is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society, the JSCC Honors Program, and earned 33 college credits while in high school. Meleah loves singing and performing and would love to perform in operas. She dreams of one day becoming either a music therapist or professional choir conductor.
