Nathan had some difficult early years being diagnosed with ALL (Leukemia) at age 3. After two and a half years he completed chemotherapy. In 2011 his Oncologist released him and declared him cured. While he never had a relapse, it has not been easy for him to remember things he learned in school. We have been told this is an after effect of chemotherapy called chemo-brain.
Despite all this and losing his father to a heart attack in 2014, Nathan has grown into a strong young man. He currently works at Texas Road House as a server until he decides what he wants to do next. His parents are very proud of him and know he will succeed in whatever he chooses to do.
Petra has been accepted into Nursing Program at Lee University. She received the Presidential Scholarship at Lee University. She has interned
at Lifepoint Church.
