Eli Joseph Lawrence, son of David
and Amy Lawrence, and Home Life Academy salutatorian, will be attending Mississippi State University in the Shackouls Honors program to pursue a degree in Electrical Engineering. During high school, Eli was a member of the Eta Sigma Alpha Chapter of the National Honor Society, participated in band, choir and orchestra. He participated in the All-West TN Jr. Blue Band his freshman year with his trombone. Eli attained the Eagle Scout Award with the Boy Scouts of America in Troop 455 of Lakeland, Tennessee. During his senior year, Eli took two dual enrollment classes, Calculus 1 and 2, at Christian Brothers University and two AP classes, Computer Science and English Literature. Eli also worked at Excellent Roofing and volunteered as a middle school life group assistant leader at Bellevue Baptist church.
