A Moment to Remember
Chicago Lodge 7 members know the importance of remembering sisters and brothers in the city, the state of Illinois and the country who have been lost in the line of duty. On May 6, the fallen of- ficers honored on the cover of this issue were remembered at the Illinois Police Officers Memorial. In October, Lodge 7 will honor Chicago Police Officers Marco Di Franco, Ronald Newman, Clifford Martin Sr. and Titus Moore as part of National Police Week, which has been rescheduled from May due to the pandemic. In his monthly report beginning on page 5, President John Catanzara honors the fallen and and emphasizes the urgency urgency of making sure that the dangerous working conditions in the city don’t put more names on the FOP’s Memorial Wall.
