Criminal Justice and related degree programs
Bachelor of Arts Degree Completion Program with a Concentration in Public Safety and Security Management: Starting January 2017, DePaul’s School for New Learning will offer an accelerated undergraduate degree completion program in public safety and security management. This specialized curriculum integrates real-world experiences with emerging academic research and learning for law enforcement and public safety officials.
Master of Public Administration from DePaul’s School of Public Service: Starting March 2017, the Master of Public Administration (MPA) is specifically tailored for individuals who hope to pursue leadership opportunities within the public sector. The MPA curriculum allows students to strategically analyze critical problems and develop effective, efficient and equitable solutions. Students also gain the skills and confidence to lead and manage a diverse public workforce, as well as build and maintain account- able, democratic and ethical systems of public management and service delivery. Master of Jurisprudence: The Master of Jurisprudence (MJ) program is specifically designed for professionals who do not seek to practice law, but who regularly encoun- ter legal issues in their work and/or would benefit from a sophisticated and nuanced understanding of legal reasoning and doctrine. MJ graduates stand out as professionals who can effectively and comfortably communicate with legal counsel and who can assess the needs of their organizations as the laws and regulations change and evolve.
