Stand and be recognized
When attorneys moved to get a new trial for one of the men who gunned down Chicago Police Officers William Fahey and Richard O’Brien in 1982, Chicago Lodge 7 members made a stand. The FOP moved its January general meeting to the Criminal Court building at 26th and California, where nearly 200 members gathered to show their support for Fahey and O’Brien and their families. And they stood together to try to make sure a convicted cop killer stays in prison.

Skating with the Stars
The Chicago FOP Stars is filled with police officers who love to play hockey and use their ice time to benefit many worthwhile causes. Oh, they can get a little competitive, like when they faced off against the Chicago Fire Department recently. But the best games are the ones that raise funds and awareness, like a recent skate to benefit the family of a lost brother . . .Page 36 Plus...A former Chicago FOP Star asks for your support.
