Third District’s female leaders on display for Women’s History Month

Strength; courage; a love of the job; dedication; perseverance and pride: These traits radiate from the strong, smiling faces of those women in the Chicago Police Department who were honored this month in the Third Dis- trict.
Commander Gloria Hanna-Gill knew that Women’s History Month could not pass without recognizing the accom- plishments of her female colleagues. Along with Third District Officer Wau- keesha Pickens, Hanna-Gill came up with the perfect way to highlight these women for all to see.
