We need a stronger showing at FOP conferences
During the second week of August, the Biennial Na- tional FOP Conference was held in New Orleans. Chi- cago Lodge 7 brought 66 delegates to help decide who would run the national organization for the next two years. I would like to congratulate the new National Executive Board:

from their families to attend the conference. It is worth noting that Chicago Lodge 7 is the largest subordinate lodge in the country, with more than 18,000 members. It is also worth noting that by be- ing the largest lodge, we are entitled to bring in excess of 300 del- egates to the Biennial National Conference—but we only brought 66. The next Biennial National Conference is scheduled for August 2021 in Indianapolis. It would be amazing to see a Chicago delega- tion nearing 300 people, where our members can make the deci- sions and be the force we are entitled to be.
The next Biennial State Conference in scheduled for July 2020. Again, Chicago Lodge 7 has the opportunity to bring the largest del- egation in the state, so let’s not let another opportunity slip by us! This is your union, get involved.
