Exciting event for the young women of Easter Seals
Easter Seals celebrated an unprecedented event in an unconventional way. Troop 25226 enjoyed a special meeting this week, when a troop from Oak Park joined them for a celebration of women’s rights on Election Day.
The girls learned about the history of Susan B. Anthony and the women’s suffrage movement. They also had the chance to participate in a candy poll, in which they exercised their right to vote. The girls had a great
time meeting fellow scouts and making new friends. d
