We cannot let criminal behavior win
Our members have consistently been attacked, both physically and mentally. When will this end? When will this insanity stop? The one thing that can- not stop is doing the courageous and exemplary hard work you do each day and night.
One word comes to mind: resiliency. We must stay in this fight. Otherwise, the good that we do know will disappear. You cannot let criminal behavior win. Not now, not ever.
We know the truth. Each day you serve in these communities, you are protecting life and our future. Do not let a negative sound bite or an ignorant news
story about police aggravate you. We know the truth: that in real life, cops do great work on the regular. It just goes unnoticed in the fake news world.
At Lodge 7, we are working ferociously and diligently to defend our members. Our mission is to protect your rights and safety in the most efficient way. The call volume is up even more at the Lodge, due to new units being established and days off being can- celled. I have to say, changing the entire team in the middle of the season is not the best idea.
If you have a contract question, need advice or just want to vent, I am all in, and we can come up with a solution. Here at the FOP, we continue to push back and fight against unfair practices against our members. We take different approaches and actions when necessary. Stay resilient and stay strong.
