Like so many members, Lodge 7 President John Catanzara has been there, feeling the dark days of the job being too much and thinking about doing something drastic. But Catanzara found a friend to lean on. As he shares that story of getting the much-needed support that helped save his life, it underscores the FOP’s efforts to provide the mental health and wellness resources members have been asking for. Raising awareness for suicide prevention is part of the Lodge 7 priority to give members a place to find the help to face the ever-increasing stresses of life’s darkest days.
