As calls to respond to trauma continue to increase and post-traumatic stress rises to unprecedented levels, Chicago Police Officers need help in fighting off self-medicating, addiction and the feel- ing that there is no way out. There is a way through, and that begins with EAP’s Professional Counseling Division which is increasing the treatment officers have asked for to address their mental health and well-being.
