Why spring is the perfect time to sell your home
Warmer weather is upon us, and with interest rates at their lowest in recent years, now is the per- fect time to list your home. Typically considered the hottest season for the housing market, spring is the ideal period to move forward with plans to sell. To make the most of eager buyers this spring, consider the following:
Warmer weather makes buyers active
it’s key that your real estate professional accurately estimates your home’s value to ensure that your asking price is in line with what buyers are willing to pay. This process relies on com- parable homes — or “comps” for short — sold in your neigh-
borhood. With more homes selling on-season, those comps will be more accurate than drawing on data from homes
sold for lower prices in the winter.

advantage of the spring market if you start prepping now. After you’ve prepped your home, it’s time to part- ner with the right real estate professional who can pro- vide some guidance and ensure that your home stands
out from the pack this spring.

The undisputed champ of seasons for selling a home, spring means buyers ready to close the deal. Not only are the skies blue
— perfect for great marketing photography — but buyers
are ready to find their dream homes in order to make a move and settle before the weather takes a chilly turn.
The market is right
Lower interest rates mean buyers can get more home for their buck. Lower inventory also allows for some healthy com- petition, often resulting in multiple offers on a home. This is a boon for sellers, which means you’ll likely be able to command a more competitive offer on your home.
