sdp update SDP FAMILY
Holidays are upon us!
As we all celebrate the season and gingerly step into 2022, I glance back and wonder where 2021 went. I have discovered such a vibrant, creative SDP family and have gotten to know many of my new family of artists. I look forward to meeting many, many more of you!
2021 has presented many challenges for all of
us, and your SDP office family is no exception. We have celebrated some who have moved on to create their own businesses and others who have decided to stay home with their new family additions. We
welcomed new staff into our SDP home; Lindsay our Controller, who has worked tirelessly to help us properly manage our resources and ensure we are accurate in our accounting. Most recently, we have welcomed Sydney as our Membership and Chapters Coordinator. I am sure many of you have spoken to her when you call the office. Sydney will help you navigate your way through membership and assist chapters any way she can with a positive attitude. She genuinely cares for this SDP family. Miho continues to work tirelessly to keep our education and events running smoothly (and much more). We both work to keep The Decorative Painter magazine fresh and relevant for you.
Please know we have a great staff who truly care about this Society and want only the best for all of you. I feel particularly fortunate to have found my way to SDP. I am filled with gratitude for such an incredible adventure with all of you.
I know I said “gingerly step into 2022,” but I think we ought to dance wildly into 2022, clicking our heels all the way...
