Note that in this work all the flowers are painted the same and remember that the direction of the stroke is from the edge of the petal to the center of the flower.
Using the no. 3 round brush with Raw Umber+Titanium White (1:4) paint the base of the petals of all the flowers and buds. Then use the no. 1 round with Titanium White to highlight each petal, always observing the Step 2 of the Step-by-Step above.
Use the no. 1 round brush and Yellow Ochre Light to paint under each bud. In the right area add a touch of Cadmium Green Pale. With the same brush and Cadmium Green Pale+Titanium White+Yellow Ochre Light (1:3:tch) paint the leaves and buds. Finally paint the small shoot with Burnt Sienna.
With the no. 6 shader and Titanium White+Raw Um-
ber (4:1) paint the left and right lower chest area; then
with the liner brush and Titanium White paint feathers STEP 1
and intensify highlight in the central area.
Use the liner brush and Raw Umber to paint feathers in
the left and right areas that form the wing. Use the no. 3 round brush and Raw Umber to paint the tail. Remember to observe the Step 2 of the Step-by-Step above.
STEP 1
Finally, with the no. 3 round brush and Lamp Black paint the legs. Then with the same brush and Titanium White paint the highlight on the left side of them.
With the no. 3 round brush and Raw Umber+Lamp Black (3:1) paint the bottom of the beak. Add Titanium White to this mixture and paint the upper side to show the division of upper and lower beak.
