2 WEEKS PRIOR
Make sure your store is ready and well-stocked; take note of any deadlines for online requisitions and place your orders beforehand – keep in mind that you must be well-stocked enough to accommodate the entire peak period.
If you would like to open earlier, please make sure to contact your DSM and mall administration to advise them of the change for that day, and ensure that you change your store hours for that day in StoreForce.
MARKETING
Inspect Black Friday marketing materials and prepare them for installation.
Check StoreForce and RCL Forum for new promotions added or changes made to promotions.
Ensure that gift cards are well displayed at the cash desk. Check windows and lights every morning.
1 WEEK PRIOR
Replenish gaps little by little each day to ensure you never have to replenish the entire store at the last minute – create a system to slowly lift the replenishment in the store over 3 days to the event. Lift piles (but ensure that you do not over any signage!) and add extra sizes into walls and racks while respecting the visual standards of the store. Refer to the Keeping Your Store Organized section of the Peak Period Planner.
