BLAKE KOCH

Birth Date: August 7, 1985 Hometown: West Palm Beach, FL
Birth Date: August 12, 1993 Hometown: Bakersfield, CA
Team: No. 4 Chevy Camaro SS / JD Motorsports with Gary Keller
Team: No. 16 Toyota Tundra/Roush Fenway Racing

Blake Koch didn’t race in 2018, but he never gave up on a return to the
              NASCAR Xfinity Series.

His patience and perseverance paid off with a spot in the driver’s
seat of the No. 4 Chevy Camaro at JD Motorsports with Gary
Keller. And in the process, he goes to work for a race team

that qualified for the NASCAR Playoffs a year ago.

Ross Chastain earned a spot in the 2018 playoffs with
a victory at Las Vegas. A 25th-place finish at Kansas
FEATURED DRIVERS four races later essentially ended Chastain’s title

hopes, but a 10th-place spot in the points were
the highest in JD Motorsports history – a team
that’s been around since 1983 with nearly
1,100 combined starts among a variety
              of drivers.

“Coming off their best season with Ross
making the playoffs, it’s a perfect time to
              join them,” Koch said.

The 33-year-old driver from West Palm Beach,
Fla., used his off-time to build up his business,
FilterTime, an air filter subscription service that
will serve as the primary sponsor for the team.

“It’s hard for me to explain how excited I am to race
again and to do it for JD Motorsports. I have seen the
progress of this team and have raced against them for many
              years,” Koch said.

“This is truly a dream come true. I started this company to
eventually get me back in a seat and it’s happening.”
