Very Reverend Denis Robinson
Fr. Denis is the President-Rector of St. Meinrad School of Theology in St. Meinrad, Indiana. A Benedictine monk, he is also an Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology. A Mississippi native, Fr. Denis was ordained priest for the Diocese of Memphis in 1993 and served as Parochial Vicar for the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Memphis from1993-97. He joined St. Meinrad Archabbey in1997 and professed solemn vows in 2000.
Fr. Denis is the author of numerous articles and has contributed to several theological texts. He is the editor of Sacerdos in Aeternum: Reflections on the Priesthood Today and co-editor of Theology and Religious Pluralism.
Reverend Jose Cruz Zappata - Torres
Fr. Jose was born in Mexico City, Mexico on February 15, 1986 & started formation in the Seminario Conciliar de Mexico, in the Archidiocese of Mexico City, in August 2004. Father Jose graduated from Sacred Heart School of Theology in Milwaukee, Wis. in May, 2014.
On June 7, 2014 by the imposition of hands of the Most Reverend Bishop Terry
J. Steib, Bishop of Memphis Serving as Associated Pastor at the parishes of Immaculate Conception Cathedral, Saint Michael Church, and
Catholic Church of Incarnation. Serving as Parochial Administrator at the
Catholic Church of Nativity, since July 1st, 2021.
Reverend Cain Galicia
Fr. Cain has been the parochial vicar at St. Brigid Catholic Church since 2019. Shortly after being assigned to St. Brigid, he formed a Hispanic community which is currently one of the fastest growing and most dynamic communities in the Diocese of Memphis.
He was born and raised in Mexico and before becoming a seminarian, he attended university in Mexico and Spain majoring in business administration. While he was studying philosophy and theology
at the Pontifical Palafoxiano Seminary, he obtained a master’s degree in Family Counseling at the John Paul II Institute. Fr. Galicia graduated from the Notre Dame Seminary School of Theology.
In addition to his priestly ministry and lay formation, Fr. Galicia is currently studying a continuing education course in marriage consulting techniques.
