Bishop Robert P. Marshall, Jr.
Bishop Robert Marshall was born on June 17, 1959, in Memphis, Tenn.
A graduate of Catholic schools, he attended St. Michael School, Christian Brothers High School and Christian Brothers University, all in Memphis. He obtained a law degree from Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) and practiced law for twelve years in both St. Louis, Missouri and Memphis.
Discerning a call to priesthood, Bishop Marshall studied at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana, and received a Master of Divinity degree in 2000. He was ordained to the priesthood on June 10, 2000, at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Memphis by the Most Reverend J. Terry Steib, S.V.D.
Bishop Marshall has served in parish ministry in a number of parishes in the Diocese of Memphis, including as Pastor of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception from 2017-2020. On April 21, 2021, the Holy Father appointed him the 13th Bishop of Alexandria, La.
He was ordained and installed at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral in Alexandria on August 20, 2020. Bishop David P. Talley and Bishop Emeritus J. Terry Steib, S.V.D., served as Co-Consecrators.
Reverend Robbie Favazza
Fr. Robbie Favazza is currently the Pastor at St. Philip the Apostle in
Somerville. Fr. Robbie is a native Memphian, and he is the son of Frank and Ann Favazza.
He graduated from Germantown High School, Franciscan University, and Kendrick School of Theology in St. Louis. He was or-dained to the priesthood in 2009.
Fr. Robbie previously served as Associate Pastor of St. Mary Catholic Church in Jackson, Tenn., and Holy Rosary Parish and Pastor of Church of Ascension.
Fr. Robbie is well-like homilist and fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Scott Hahn
Dr. Scott Hahn is the Fr. Michael Scanlan Professor of Biblical Theology and the New Evangelization at the Franciscan University of Steubenville. He is the Founder and President of the St. Paul Center, an apostolate dedicated to teaching Catholics to read Scripture from the heart of the Church.
Dr. Hahn has been married to Kimberly for forty one years. They have six kids and twenty grandkids and two of their sons are currently in priestly formation with the Diocese of Steubenville.
The author and editor of over forty popular and academic books, Dr. Hahn’s works include best-selling titles Rome Sweet Home, The Lamb’s Supper,
