The available nancial management data are limited and inconsistent, making it di cult to perform robust reporting and analysis. E ective tools are lacking for monitoring and reporting on projects and portfolio nancial management performance. These issues impact management decisions on improving ADB project processing and implementation and strengthening developing member countries’ (DMCs) systems and institutions.
The Financial Management Information Dashboard provides relevant and consistent real-time data on projects’ nancial management performance and analytics on DMCs’ public nancial management systems. This tool will be accessible
to all sta and ensure that there is “one source of truth”
when analyzing and reporting nancial management data. It signi cantly contributes to business e ciency by negating the need for separate tools, reconciling data between di erent sources, and streamlining the preparing and dissemination
of reports.
“This is in support of ADB’s Strategy 2030: by modernizing business processes and providing relevant data and analytics, it ties with strengthening the governance and institutional capacity of DMCs, and also promotes a stronger, better, and faster ADB.”
