PRAYER IN THE STRUGGLE
A prayer for those seeking God
Lord Jesus, grant that I may see in You the ful llment of all my need, and may turn from every false satisfaction to feed upon You, the true and living Bread of Life. Enable me to lay aside the sins that cling so closely, and to run with perseverance the race set before me, looking to You, the Author and Perfecter of my faith. Give me opportunity that I might forgive and be forgiven as I move toward restoration in my broken relationships. Amen.
PRAYER IN BELIEVING
A prayer of commitment for those who seek to follow Christ
Heavenly Father, I admit that I am weaker and more sinful than I ever before believed; but, through Your Son Jesus, I can be more loved and accepted than I ever dare to hope. I thank You that Jesus lived the life I should have lived, and paid the debt and punishment I owed. Receive me now for His sake. I turn from my sins and receive Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. Amen.
AN INVITATION
We have no greater privilege than to draw near to God. We come to Him through the merit of Christ cruci ed. We come by the power of the Holy Spirit. And we come with God's promise that He will draw near to us.
