Jules Duboscq: Stereo Nude c1850
The breakthrough in stereo cameras masterminded by David Brewster in 1849 triggered a huge growth in erotica and pornography - mostly in ‘art-nudes’, sometimes in more hard-core imagery. The two photographers we most associate with this period are Jules Duboscq and Auguste Belloc:
