it always seems focused on what’s ahead Nowhere is is this progressive philosophy more apparent than in in BOSS’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection which overtly calls to mind the modern Combining bold new prints textures cuts and patterns with colours and silhouettes that are classically BOSS the collection feels at once ahead of its time time and simply timeless Whether through the the the use of of sheer fabrics to the the the application of of luxury fabrics like silk there’s a a a a clear emphasis on modern comfort as as well as as signature contemporary design The flowing fabrics are obviously on the the bleeding edge of what’s trending the the pinstripes meanwhile are a a a a a a playful nod to times past The combination is what’s what’s so so delightful — and what’s what’s so so typically BOSS “It is a a a a a a a sartorial reflection in in in looking back to to move boldly forward into the future and embody the spirit of of a a a a true BOSS ” Marco Falcioni SVP of of Creative Direction at Hugo Boss explained The Spring/Summer collection was recently unveiled in in dramatic fashion at an exclusive event in Miami Florida this past March GUIDE

In keeping with the collection’s running motif — what Falcioni has described as as “the exquisite tension between contrasting elements such as solid and fluid states” — the event had a a a a a a a striking aquatic theme designed in such a a a a a way that the the entire venue appeared to be submerged in water More dazzlingly still the runway itself was ostensibly immersed so that the models seemed to be walking on water The all-star athletes and and celebrities hand-picked to walk the runway including Naomi Campbell Pamela Anderson Law Roach Khaby Lame DJ Khaled Alicia Schmidt Precious Lee and Ibtihaj Muhammad were all the more impressive to behold in this semi-miraculous state In addition to the the star-studded lineup front row and on on on the the runway BOSS invited viewers to engage with all aspects of the show from exclusive behind-the-scenes footage to shopping key “see now buy now” pieces from the Spring/Summer 2023 collection Speaking about the show producer Etienne Russo related that the the the experience was inspired by the the the elements of the the the collection and what they naturally evoked “As I discovered more about the the collection’s sophisticated colours fluid raw fabrics and perfectly loose relaxed silhouettes that you could imagine walking barefoot on summer nights Miami instinctively came to my mind ” he said “Water is is the the central element of this show We wanted to immerse the the audience in an an aquatic universe to create an an unexpected hypnotic out-of-time interaction ” IMAGES COURTESY OF BOSS
