Art Basel Miami Beach returns this winter,
bringing together its largest showcase of talent
since 2008. On view from Dec. 6 to 8, the show
will host 286 galleries from 38 countries, with a
large portion of exhibitors hailing from across
the Americas, and Europe and Asia expanding
representation, including first-time appearances
from Romania and Indonesia. This year’s edition
is led by director of Art Basel Miami Beach
Bridget Finn, and will span dynamic sectors such
as “Galleries,” presenting the full scope of gallery
programs; “Nova,” highlighting younger galleries;
“Positions,” focusing on solo presentations by
emerging artists; and “Survey,” showcasing
historically significant works created before 2000.
