T iffany & Co. has unveiled The Landmark, a redesigned luxury
retail institution at the corner of 57th Street and Fifth Avenue.
An appealing name that draws you into an even more appealing space. Standing an incredible ten floors high, this marks the first reimagined renovation since Tiffany & Co. opened its doors at the location in 1940. While many new factors came into play, architect Peter Marino was responsible for maintaining the integrity of the original design, marrying the old and the new throughout the 100,000-square-foot space. The extension of the building carries on in a three-story glass addition designed by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture.
The main floor starts the experience with a grand entrance into the store, which is complete with an illuminating skylight and innovative floor- to-ceiling LED windows on either side of the room that change from the Manhattan skyline to scenes of Central Park and feature an astonishing
33 million pixels. Heading upstairs, the third floor is All About Love: a stunning assortment of all things love and engagement, a category that Tiffany & Co. has mastered and holds a special space in. Stepping off the elevator, the ceiling of the space is designed to look like a women’s dress floating above a seemingly endless variety of engagement rings. As well as, beginning on the third floor is a remarkable staircase that spans the heart of the store from floors three to eight, showcasing its organic beauty in ceruse oak and flanked by top-to-bottom mirrors. The fourth floor, titled

Gold & Diamond Icons, features signature jewellery collections such as
Tiffany Hardwear and Tiffany T, their quintessential watch collections,
and iconic designers such as Elsa Peretti and Paloma Picasso.
The Landmark’s beauty lies in its many details, including staff uniforms designed by Givenchy—also a part of the LVMH group—as well as an
ode to the iconic Givenchy dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, which can be found as a part of the Audrey Experience on the
fifth floor. That same floor also features silver collections, leather and accessories, and personalization services. On the sixth floor, the Blue Box
Café by Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud serves actual breakfast
at Tiffany’s, while the Masterpieces can be found on the seventh floor,
featuring an incredible collection of Tiffany High Jewellery, and the Patek Philippe Salon. The eighth and ninth floors, two parts of the glass addition,
will act as exhibition spaces with rotating galleries. and the tenth and final
floor will serve as an appointment-only space for exclusive and luxury client services.
An exclusive party rounded out the grand opening, and it included a
caviar station, themed bars, a performance by Katy Perry, and appearances SMAGAZINEOFFICIAL.COM
from many friends of the brand, including Hailey Bieber, Florence Pugh,
and Tracee Ellis Ross, though the star of the night was the The Landmark
itself. Tiffany’s flagship location is one of the largest stores in Manhattan
and houses an immeasurable amount of magic to be discovered.
