The boy sprinted towards Gardenella and rewarded her with the biggest hug. She smiled as she stooped to hug him and gently rubbed his back. Mirror Terror smiled at them, but when he looked on Gardenella, his pupils widened and his heart warmed as it pounded against his chest.
“I see you getting better at the smiling thing”, chuckled Gardenella.
He widened his smile at what Gardenella said. “Never mind”, she said.
They both laughed as they began to stare into each other’s eyes. They both slowly stepped closer to each other.
