Dear Graduates,
You started your studies in Civil Engineering at the end of the COVID-19 period and completed them during a prolonged war that has impacted the country since October 7, 2023. During this time, we made every effort to prepare you in the best possible way without compromising academic standards.
As is well known, all graduates of the department receive a degree in Structural Engineering. A structural designer bears a significant responsibility, and therefore, despite the challenges along the way, it was essential to ensure proper training. The final project you are submitting now, reflects the various contents you studied over the past four years in structural design.
While about a quarter of the graduates continue to work as structural designers, a significant number turn to other fields, particularly in management and execution within civil engineering projects. Therefore, it was important for us to provide you with additional tools in these areas of content.
The abstracts included in this collection are from the leading students who have shown diligent learning throughout the past year during the guidance sessions of the final project and through independent work at home. These students will present their projects at the project conference to be held during the SCE Tech Fest 2025.
We are proud of all our graduates, especially those presenting at the project conference and those who served in reserves for extended periods during the war.
Alongside the joy of reaching the finish line of your degree, we will always remember Liav Atia, who fell in the war in Gaza in December 2023, and we hope that we will all be worthy of his sacrifice for the defense of our homeland.
We wish all graduates success in their future endeavors, and may you always continue to learn and grow.
