Congratulatory address by the Founder and Rector of SCE
Dear students,
I’m glad to see you right before you conclude your studies, as you present your Final Projects. These are landmark moments, as your studies here come to an end and you begin your new and ambitious professional path in industry.
The world around us is constantly changing, never standing still. Technology is developing at a dizzying pace and is actually updating itself continually. As SCE students, you have acquired the necessary knowledge for your integration into contemporary industry—you’re faced real industrial challenges in the field; you’ve developed creative solutions; you’ve learned how to do teamwork; you’re familiar with novel and advanced teaching methods that incorporate theory and practice in tandem.
Your investments in your studies and Final Projects are notable. You’ve acquired tools and broad knowledge, and have shown your commitment, seriousness and creativity—which leave a genuine imprint. I’m certain that you are amply prepared to go out into the world of work, and that you will make many contributions there from our halls of excellence, based on what you have acquired here.
It’s important that you continue to aspire and fulfil your potential, especially after graduating. Don’t forget that learning is an ongoing journey. Keep learning, seek opportunities to study for advanced degrees, to be entrepreneurs, to stay up-to-date and develop in different fields.
Your future awaits you and you must conquer it. I’m certain that each and every one of you will become influential and lead in his/her field, creating change, inventing and making progress.
