  Dear graduates,
The final project in an upcoming engineer’s academic life is very important. It begins with the search for a fascinating and challenging subject, to which you apply all the tools you’ve been given and all the knowledge you’ve assimilated. Ultimately, you produce something original, your own handiwork, featuring your professional ability for the first time in your life.
Certainly, in a few months, when you look back, you’ll see that, despite the challenges you faced when creating your final project, regardless of any failed experiments or unexpected results, and after doing a lot of digging through the literature to discover the explanation for those results—you will be confident that you have achieved a high-quality outcome. Beyond the professional knowledge you’ve gained, you’ve developed your senses of independence and responsibility, discovered how to learn from failure, how to grow and go forward, and how to work as part of a team.
Over the past four years, we’ve been with you not only to give you the professional tools you need to succeed, but to teach you the values of community activity, mutual help, leadership, self-fulfillment, and striving for excellence. We hope you’ve learned to plan your time, to prioritize, to put what’s really important first, and to always move forward, making progress.
We know we only served as catalysts to help you realize your dreams. We commend you for your investments of time and energy, your creative thinking, your determination and commitment to this professional path. You have proven yourselves to be capable and worthy.
We wish you all success in the future!
