   Dear Students,
Your final project marks the pinnacle of your academic journey. It is not only the culmination of your academic studies, but also a key milestone in your training as leading engineers. Over the past year and a half, we have faced exceptional challenges due to the situation in our country. In addition to the regular academic workload, some of you were called for I.D.F. Reserves’ duty or have been dealing with personal challenges. Despite these difficulties, you have reached this exciting moment-presenting a meaningful outcome that reflects knowledge, skills, and engineering thinking.
Your journey of learning and growth began a year and a half ago with the “Project Preparation” course. You carefully selected your project topic, faced challenges, made decisions, and tackled complex problems. Beyond the impressive deliverables: information systems; designing engineering solutions for organizational efficiency; in-depth research; and analyses-you have acquired crucial skills that will serve you throughout your careers:
• Problem-solving and innovation using engineering tools
• Academic writing skills, including reliance on English-language sources
• Application of theories, methods, and tools
• Integration of various aspects of complex problems and their solutions
• Independent learning, embracing “Lifelong Learning”, a critical 21st-century skill
• Effective presentation skills—condensing an entire final project into a 20-minute presentation
• Teamwork and collaboration.
The final project combines theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and analytical thinking, providing you with valuable experience in solving complex problems, making data-driven decisions, and applying engineering tools in real-world settings. Working on your project has prepared you to enter the workforce with the professional capabilities and broad, systemic vision required by industrial and management engineers. We are proud to witness the progress you have made and the professionalism you have demonstrated. Be proud of the outstanding results of your final projects!
On behalf of the entire department, we wish you great success in your professional careers and beyond.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all the project advisors who guided you throughout this process. Thank you for your professional mentorship, support, and dedication— sharing your expertise and investing many hours and much effort.
