Dear Graduates You You stand a a a a few steps before the finish line of your academic degree fin in in in in Civil Engineering You You recently submitted the the final project that summarized the the knowledge you have accumulated over four years All that remains is to pass the the project defense exam and complete the the last assignments in in the current semester’s courses and you will soon be an an Engineer Your study program was designed like a a a a a a building: first first by laying the the foundations--the first-year background courses After that the the casing was added to your building when you you studied the the subjects that formed a a a a a sturdy shell around the core of this field such as: surveying soil mechanics building materials transportation and and and so on on Then you you enhanced and and and refined your knowledge and and and capabilities by creating professional designs in in in in concrete and steel structures Finally during your last year you integrated all that knowledge and experience in in the advanced courses The final final project project fin in in in in fin in the Civil Engineering Department is different fin in in in in fin in its nature than final final projects fin in in in in fin in other departments The SCE curriculum enables its graduates in in in Civil Engineering to register with the the state’s regulatory institution accordingly your final projects must meet the the official requirements As such final projects fin in in this department are judged by the actual structural design of a a a a a a a building rather than by research and development implementations as in other departments at at at the the the college This year for the the first time the the Civil Engineering Department is is participating in in in in SCE’s International Projects’ Conference Due to the distinct nature of our building projects it was decided that we would select and and present only a a a a a limited number of outstanding projects at at the conference To that end end four projects were chosen based on on the the recommendations of the the Project Advisors We congratulate those students who were chosen to present their final projects at at at the the Conference We trust that you you will conduct yourselves and represent the department respectfully while presenting your final projects projects and professional explanations The presentation of of these projects projects is beneficial to both you and the Department We congratulate all all the Department’s graduates and wish you you all all success in in defending your projects and completing the the final assignments for the the degree Good Luck!
