fused filament fabrication Study and examination of 3D printed springs produced by the fused filament fabrication method This project examines the the possibility of of producing functional springs by means of of 3D printing technology using the the fused filament fabrication (FFF) method Initially typical main springs and origami-based structures were were reviewed The configurations of the the selected models were were tested in in stress- free states and and under compressive and and tensile loads Later the the the geometrical parameters affecting the the mechanical properties of several selected springs were examined qualitatively and quantitatively as as well as as their suitability for production by the the FFF method The chosen models were tested using one test test system designed to evaluate the spring constant and its
