For Yoon-Jeong Ko’s new Art <Sublime> series

From the background of black canvas and glittering metal
plate basements, the recent art work <Sublime> series starts
from the importance of texture and colors with material
characteristics. Despite of the simplicity and mysterious
visual effects which are made from the methods of chance,

the artist’s compsition skills are having the hided images of
humans and animals. On the other hand, the direction of the
art works are decided, so the unreflected black color comes

out firsty or the random based natural colors are forwarded;
further, the controlled simple color abstract arts opens up new
possibility.

Used skills are simple drawing, flowing, blurring, juxtaposing

and othes; however, for the most important methods are the
water-dropping like accumulation of colors. As is the symbol
of the endurance, further arrguably, is not just the pigments,

but is the hamony of energy of living and natural materials;
furthermore, finally it becomes the symbolic signment of
eternality of the birth of the Universe from the procedure of
melt and hard procedures.

In the basement of the main expression, the artist’s thinking
for the human-being is contained: not only symbolically
uprises the reconciliation of destroyed Nature & Humans but

also it uprises the dignity and sublimity of man. In the midst of
it, each artworks have their own worth individually, as are like
embedded figures, indistinctly show natural shapes; and finally
it metapholically emerges the aesthetics of special messages
of praising the beautiful sublimity of human-beings life.
