Lage Weide was developed in the 1950’s by the city of Utrecht as an
alternative location for industrial companies. Such companies had to
locate outside the city centre to minimize environmental pollution.
The take-up at Lage Weide business park (net 102 hectares) today
is almost one hundred percent, with a variety of businesses.
