 Falling petals
Drummed against me
From the cherry shadows
of the window’s tree
petals calmly
embraced in the fall of the wind
caught here
(all dancers show one cupped, outstretched wrist)
and here
(all dancers place one hand to indicate the right shoulder joint) and here
(all dancers turn to show the back of the neck)
if they keep holding me in like this then I shall die relentlessly
the moon will say
she fell and fell against the petals
