Mistranslation Laboratory visitors will experience:
- An introduction to the laboratory
- Three performance works co-operatively chosen by audiences, selected out of ten possible offers - from the categories of ‘Emotional Experience’, ‘Atmospheric Fieldtrip’ and ‘Workshop’
- Two ‘palette cleansers’ - short, refreshing interval works
that clear the performance atmosphere of knotty cellular and atmospheric affects. Four palette cleansers are available - Hexnut; Concentric Islands; Durational Spritz, and Sincerity. A time- inspired research instrument purpose-designed for mistranslation research is used to determine which palette cleansers transition the laboratory through its tasks.
- A game of emotional science which doubles as a laboratory exit strategy, titled Sweet Biscuit.
